An incredible senior leadership opportunity has arisen to transform the inclusive practice and student experience within our Trust. We are in a period of growth and development and this role will work with the Trust Executive to help us in realising our mission and vision. The Group Vice-Principal will provide strategic leadership of key college services and resources that enable all students to succeed and progress.

This role and provides a wonderful opportunity to:

• Shape the leadership and development of the Student Services, Counselling, Careers and Learning Support provision for Trust college;

• Champion and lead the development of inclusive working practice across the Trust, ensuring the needs of all students are appropriately supported to enable them to succeed;

• Deliver excellent pastoral care and guidance services for our students;

• Lead and develop high-performing teams under your leadership; and

• Develop innovative programmes and services to enable all students to thrive and unlock their potential during their studies with the Lighthouse Learning Trust.

The postholder will be responsible for delivering improvement of the student experience from a successful transition to one our colleges through to graduation and progression to the next stage of education or future career. This includes how we communicate with our students, how we listen to our students and use the student voice to further improve what we do, ensuring that every student has the support required and excellent opportunities to develop the values and wider skills needed to secure success in their studies and life.

We are committed to widening access and participation, and a key element of this role will be to ensure that the student experience is truly inclusive, and that students from a diverse range of backgrounds and with differing individual needs are given the right support to succeed in their studies.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to build, shape and manage our student services functions; to develop and deliver projects and execute a programme of campaigns and events; and to shape innovative services which are essential to the continued development of the Trust.

We are looking for an innovative and experienced practitioner to join us who has already enjoyed success in a senior Leadership role with the performance improvement data to support this. They will share our passion for serving a socially diverse learning community.
